Mentora Scholars 2027 is a fully funded leadership fellowship for undergraduate students in the United States and Canada who are passionate about personal growth, leadership, and creating positive change. The selective fellowship provides students with an opportunity to develop their leadership abilities, strengthen their character, build meaningful relationships, and join a lifelong community of changemakers.

The Mentora Scholars Fellowship is developed around the teachings and research of Dr. Hitendra Wadhwa, Founder and CEO of Mentora Institute and a longtime Columbia Business School faculty member. The program focuses on helping students develop leadership from within through reflection, practical learning, peer relationships, and experiential activities.

Mentora Scholars 2027 Benefits

One of the major highlights of the Mentora Scholars 2027 program is its full scholarship. Successful participants receive a scholarship from the Mentora Foundation covering program costs, room, and board. However, participants are responsible for their travel to and from the program and incidental expenses. There is also no application fee.

The fellowship includes a virtual learning component followed by an intensive residential experience. The Core Curriculum will take place virtually from February to April 2027, focusing on reading, reflection, and community building.

Students who complete the Core Curriculum can proceed to the 12-day Residential Immersion, scheduled for May 17–28, 2027. The residential program focuses on three major areas: Inner Mastery, Outer Impact, and Changemaking.

Mentora Scholars Eligibility

The Mentora Scholars Fellowship is open to current undergraduate students studying at colleges and universities in the United States or Canada, as well as students who completed their undergraduate degree within the past year.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in personal transformation, excellence in their chosen field, positive change, and whole-person development. Graduating seniors may also apply, although they should check whether their graduation schedule conflicts with the residential program.

Mentora Scholars 2027 Application Deadline

Applications opened on September 14, 2026. The Early Priority Deadline is November 8, 2026, while the final application deadline is January 17, 2027. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the organizers encourage students to apply early for priority consideration.

Following the program, Scholars can remain connected through the Mentora Scholars network and may have opportunities to become Campus Ambassadors or apply for the Mentora Fellows program.
